Finally, a chance this morning to sit down and do an update. These words above, they are simple but sum up my thoughts so well right now. It's been a long time and I have many things to share. But where do I begin?...

Life has been good, but ever so hectic.
I marvel at how quickly life can sometimes pick up its pace, catching you unaware and the next thing you know, you're caught in the middle of an unforgiving, relentless whirlwind. I'm grateful for this chance to slow down, breathe and reflect. I needed it so badly. It is truly a wonderful moment.

As you can probably sense, my mind is buzzing right now. Full of ideas, feelings and thoughts that are all angrily demanding my attention. Earlier this week I attended a conference and was so deeply inspired by the story of one of the guest speakers. I know we often talk about how short life can be and how we need to live it with no regrets. But I had one of those moments that really cemented it in for me. My thoughts following her speech:

To be able to breathe, to dream, to live those dreams, to love others, to be loved, to walk and talk and hear and see the beauty of the world surrounding us is so incredibly precious. Nothing is ever a given in life and so very easily, all that you have can become nothing at all. So stay healthy, be happy and tell those that you love how much they mean to you. You don't need to be rich, but if you have these three things - good health, a happy heart and the opportunity to experience love - you will have lived a tremendously wealthy life.
