Which means... Beautifully wrapped gifts under the tree, garlands, lights and mistletoe. Kisses, hugs, laughter all around. Reading of greeting cards, attending church celebrations and enjoying family feasts. It also means, Father Christmas will be coming down the chimney to deliver gifts to the homes of good children across the world, helping himself to the well-deserved glass of milk and plate of cookies left for him on the way out. Until next Saturday however... still so many things to do.
Sigh.I'm in the middle of planning my Christmas menu, wrapping up my pressies and finishing off some last-minute shopping for friends & family. Somewhat organised but not quite. There isn't a lot of time left!
We are most definitely on the countdown!

A quick update -- for I have just finished wrapping all my holiday gifts for family and friends!! Hooray!! I am so proud of myself for being this organised! What a big week this has been. Getting last minute gifts, Christmas lunches and putting up of decorations at work, Secret Santa, birthday celebrations! Eating too much food.... Thought I might relax a little over the weekend but no, this afternoon I have to finalise my menus for next week's celebrations and then tonight I am going to drive around in the neighbourhood just to see the stunning Christmas lights and decorations others have put up. Busy, but this is surely my most favourite time of the year!!
